Bio

Filmmaker | Visual Storyteller

Natalie Perez is a Mexican-American filmmaker with a decade of experience producing and shooting independent films, branded content, and documentaries rooted in unique identities and overlooked communities. In 2018, she co-founded She TV Media, a video production company dedicated to elevating women’s voices both in front of and behind the camera. After several successful years leading the company, she stepped away to pursue new creative opportunities and further her education in film and media.

Originally trained as a cinematographer & editor, Natalie built her creative foundation behind the camera, crafting visual stories that center underrepresented voices. As a producer, she has led award-winning projects from development through post, known for her collaborative spirit and logistical precision.

Now stepping into the role of director, Natalie brings a visually-driven and emotionally-grounded style to the forefront of her storytelling. Her latest project, A Ranch Musical, is a short western musical set in rural Nevada, which she wrote, and is producing and directing. Inspired by her family’s roots in agriculture and love of western music, the film blends heritage with themes of innovation and family legacy. Natalie is passionate about telling stories that bridge cultures and generations, using both her technical craft and lived experience.
